Job Market

The SIFS Job Market is an initiative of the Italian Society of Statistical Physics (SIFS) aimed at facilitating connections within the research community. It provides a platform for SIFS members who wish to announce available research positions, as well as for candidates interested in starting a postdoctoral position in the immediate or near future. The Job Market focuses on research areas related to SIFS, including statistical physics of complex systems, non-equilibrium dynamics, stochastic processes, network science, machine learning, and related fields. Its primary goal is to foster interaction between institutions and researchers, and especially to make young scientists from around the world aware of emerging research opportunities within the SIFS community. 

There are two dedicated Google Forms associated with the SIFS Job Market: one for SIFS members who wish to announce an available research position, and one for candidates who are interested in starting a postdoctoral position. These forms are designed to streamline the process of sharing opportunities and expressions of interest, making it easier to match institutions and researchers within the SIFS community and beyond.
